Our Ms. World International and Ms. Universe Pageant is a four-night and five-day team building experience where delegates bond and strengthen each other through supportive activities in a structured and glamorous environment. Delegates participate in group challenges as well as four phases of individual competitions showcasing each delegate's unique beauty, modeling ability, and camera appeal!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us what inspired you to start your system.

My journey, experience, and leadership in the Ms. World International and Ms. Universe Pageant have inspired me to celebrate cultural diversity, empower women, and build a legacy of grace, beauty, and strength! My ultimate goal is to share my Wonderful Experience and Amazing Journey, having won the titles Mrs. Philippines World International Pro and Crowned Ms. World International Elegance 2021 at 68 and crowned Director of the Year at 71, with the Asian Pacific Americans Vegas Queens and Showcase their Beauty, Elegance, Glamour, Poise, personality, and Talents in Miami! I am so proud and honored to have made a remarkable difference and positive impact in the lives of the Beauty Queens who have won at the Pageant in Miami!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us the founding story of the system.

We are the Industry Leaders! The Ms. World Corporation is in its 18th year of producing international and national competitions for women to showcase their achievements. The Ms. World International pageant has been held in countries across the globe promoting tourism, philanthropy, and personal growth.

Formerly operating from Sao Paulo Brazil, the Ms. World International Corporation is now working in conjunction with several US television network content providers and production companies. The Ms. World International Corp. offers its contestants the most transparent scoring and judging application in the industry.

The Ms. World Directors, CEO, and Board Members believe that the integrity and professionalism of Ms. World Corp. is what makes this Pageant one of the Leaders in the International Pageant and Entertainment Industry.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What was the vision and the goal in the beginning while creating your pageant?

The Ms. World International Corp. offers its contestants the most transparent scoring and judging application in the industry. Our goal is to Inspire women from every country, continent, and culture to come together, in the spirit of competition, to share their passions and promote their platforms on an international stage. We provide each of our queens with a world-class experience and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. My Life has been completely changed when I was Crowned Ms. World International Elegance in 2021

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about yourself. (Personal, non pageant)

I was born in Manila and raised in Project 4, Quezon City, Philippines! As an International Performing Artist, I traveled and performed from 1975 to 1980, in Japan, Guam, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Finland, Belgium, and Austria! Then, I migrated to San Francisco on October 14, 1980! I lived in the Bay Area for 16 years, worked for Bechtel Corporation, and performed in various Shows, Concerts, and Events as the Lead Singer for Roy Leano and His Orchestra. I established my Salve Vargas Production and Studio and taught over 100 Students Performing Arts for 10 years! I moved to Las Vegas in 1996. I have worked in the Financial, Banking, Insurance, Mortgage, Government, and Real Estate industries! I've been a Realtor since 2003 to present! I am very active in Southern Nevada. I am a very active Multi-Awarded Filipino American Community Leader, Community Servant, Founder and President of Rising Asian Pacific Americans Coalition for Diversity; Charter President of the Las Vegas Twin Lakes Lions Club; a Humanitarian, Philanthropist, Lector, Keynote Speaker, Executive Producer, TV Show Host, Host Performer, Patriotic Singer Extraordinaire, Entertainer, Emcee, and an International Performing Artist!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about your education.

I graduated from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines; with a BA in Business Administration, Major in Management; and an MBA in Business Administration, Major in Management from Western University in Doniphan, Missouri. I am also a Licensed Real Estate Agent for the State of Nevada since 2003. I am currently working for Weichert Realtors Millennium with the following Designations: VA Certified Realtor, ABR, CRS, RSPS, and CSP.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does women's Empowerment mean to you?

In all humility, I consider myself an empowered woman. Although, admittedly, I'm far from being a "raving beauty," nor am I the smartest or most successful, I have always worked on elevating whatever God-given talents, skills, and abilities I possess. Knowing that I have done, not only my personal best in everything I do but also aim to go "above and beyond," gives me tremendous confidence and self-empowerment to be able to serve and elevate the lives of others. After all, I believe we are here on earth for each other.

Furthermore, in my opinion, women's empowerment is defined in several ways, including accepting women's viewpoints, making an effort to seek them, and raising the status of women through education, awareness, literacy, and training. Women's empowerment equips and allows women to make life-determining decisions through the different societal problems. I have empowered so many women from all walks of life by sharing my wonderful memories and unforgettable pageant experiences, nominating potential Beauty Queens as a Pageant Director, and organizing a World-Class Pageant Boot Camp Training Day for all Pageant Delegates! They have expressed their gratitude to me via email, texts, and Social Media, on how I have uplifted and empowered them — especially the Asian Pacific American Vegas Queens!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your personal pageant history.

My first pageant was in 2015 at Ms. Senior Nevada as Ms. Senior Las Vegas at 62 years old! I had the time of my life! I won the Best Talent Award when I sang “I Will Survive!” and I was 3rd Runner-Up! The Ms. Senior Nevada Pageant was held at South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas! Then, I joined the Ms. Senior Universe Pageant 2017 as Ms. Senior Asia Pacific Universe! I was one of the Finalists! The Ms. Senior Universe Pageant was held at Planet Holywood Hotel and Casino, the same week as Ms. Universe! Then in 2019, I was nominated as Mrs. Philippines World International Pro and joined the Ms. World International Pageant in 2021. I was Crowned Ms. World International Elegance 2021! In January 2024, the Executive Producer of Ms. World International, Ms. Universe chose me to be the State Director of Nevada 2024! In August 2024, I was Crowned Director of the Year 2024, for nominating 6 Candidates to the Ms. World International and Ms. Universe Pageant from August 18-22, 2024 in Miami!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

In 2014, I invited the reigning Ms. Senior Nevada, Kat Ray, to be the Emcee for the Grand Opening of our RAPACD Cultural Center inside the historic Lorenzi Park in Las Vegas. After that, we became the best of friends. She encouraged me to compete as Ms. Senior Las Vegas in 2015. I wanted to Inspire and Empower Seniors 60 years old and above that age is just a number! I believe that It's never too late to showcase your Beauty, Glamor, Elegance, Poise and Personality, God-Given Talents, Intelligence, Brilliance, Creativity, Passion, Originality, and Authenticity to the Pageant World!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Over the years what Country, state, or city the competition took place and why?

Ms. Senior Nevada 2015, held at South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada; Ms. Senior Universe 2017, held at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada; Ms. World International 2021 in Miami, Florida! I am proud and honored to have been nominated by my Friend, Kat Ray, Ms. Senior Nevada 2014, and the Founder of Ms. Senior Universe and Ms.Senior USA; and my AANHPIA Community in Las Vegas, Nevada!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us what was special about each year's competition. Ms. Senior Nevada 2015 was very special to me because I was nominated by the reigning Ms. Senior Nevada 2013. Kat Ray. It was a wonderful experience! I had the time of my Life as Ms. Senior Las Vegas! It was held at South Point Hotel and Casino in Fabulous Las Vegas. I won the Best Talent Award and placed 3rd Runner-Up. Ms. Senior Universe Pageant was held at Planet Hollywood in Fabulous Las Vegas Simultaneous with the Ms. Universe Pageant 2017!

The Ms. World International Pageant in Miami, Florida was very special to me because, at age 68, as Mrs. Philippines World International 2021, I was Crowned Ms. World International Elegance 2021! I am so proud and honored to be included in their Reality Show, Queen of the Crowned! What an incredible experience!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What cultural significance has your pageant?

I am so proud and honored to have nominated Vegas Queens and showcased them as Ms. Laos World International; Ms. Malaysia World International; Ms. Philippines World International; Mrs. Samoa World International; and Ms. Philippines Universe! It opened up new doors and unlimited possibilities for other AANHPIA potential queens! Because of my indefatigable efforts, I was Crowned Director of the Year 2024!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How long hours/days is the competition?

The Ms. World International and Ms. Universe Pageant was from August 18-22, 2024! A Once-in-a-Lifetime 5 Days and 4 Nights Incredible Experience at the Diplomat Hotel in Miami, Florida!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Are contestants taken on any sightseeing during the competition?

Yes, they all enjoyed an amazing Welcome Champagne Party, an enjoyable Yacht Party, Watersports, Filming, Segway Races, Red Carpet Modeling, Photo and Video Shoots for all Delegates, and a glamorous Black Sash Party at Hard Rock Hotel

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are the competitors being judged on during the

competition?

For the Ms. Senior Nevada Pageant and Ms. Senior Universe Pageant: We had Live Interviews, Shared our Philosophy of Life, had a Talent Competition, an Evening Gown Competition, and a National Costume Competition!

For the Ms. World International and Ms. Universe Pageant: We had Live Interviews, a Mandatory Video Interview, a Swimsuit Competition, Modeling Ability, a Fashion Runway and Catwalk Poses and Walks, an Evening Gown Competition, a National Costume Competition, and other optional activities and fun contests!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How do you select your judges and who are they?

For all the Pageants I have competed in, the Judges were already pre-selected! They were never introduced to me before the pageant. At Ms. Senior Nevada Pageant, I met them only during the live interview. At Ms. Senior Nevada, I’ve only seen them when they were introduced by the Emcee! At the Ms. World International Pageant, I have never met them. They were not introduced to any of the delegates!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What kind of experience can contestants expect during the competition.

Everyone has different experiences! For me, I get to meet beautiful queens from all over the world. I’ve learned so many things from them such as their culture, customs, traditions, languages, and even their unique poses and walks on stage! I have been friends with them from 2015 to the present! I encouraged everyone to open their minds, hearts, and souls to savor the many Fun-filled Experiences, Building Friendships and Relationships, Learning different languages and unique cultures, learning new techniques, new poses, and Queen walks they will encounter during the Pageant week!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Do contestants have to support and volunteer for any cause or charity either before the competition or during their reign?

No. However, I encouraged them to join non-profit and charitable organizations and serve our community when they return from the Pageant as reigning Queens! We are not only Pageant Queens but also Community Leaders and Community Servants!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Does the system have sponsors?

All the delegates were encouraged to have Sponsors to help them with their pageant expenses! I had several Sponsors who helped me with my Coronation Night as well as my travel and hotel expenses in Miami!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us little bit about each winner from over the years and what they accomplished through out their reign.

Since 2014, my Queen Sisters and I have performed as Professional Singers and Dancers in various Community Events such as Chinese New Year in the Desert, Philippine Independence Day, Luau of the Fall, July 4th Independence Day Celebration, Armed Forces, Veterans, Military Personnel, and First Responders Appreciation Day, Entertained our Beloved Seniors in several Assisted Living Facilities, Concerts, and Shows in Southern Nevada. I organized my Annual Queens Ball in March, celebrating Women's History Month; created my Pageant Boot Camp Training Program (3 Training Days) for the Contestants; created the Coronation Night for all the delegates!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are some fun events you've done with your Queens?

My Queen Sisters have attended my Annual Queens Ball, Coronation Night, Fashion Show, Joint Installation Night, and many Community Gala Events wearing their Sashes and Crowns! They looked very Regal and Fabulous! As always, they have a marvelous time. I have also invited them to perform at several of my Community Events; especially, during my Annual Queens Ball and Coronation Night! World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans for your system in 2025?

I'm already planning for my Annual Queens Ball 2025, honoring and recognizing the Amazing Women Leaders and Queens in our Community in March 2025. I am also recruiting and nominating potential candidates for the Ms. World International and Ms. Universe 2025 Pageant in Miami!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind as the owner/director.

The Ms. World International Corporation’s mission of providing a transparent, world-class experience aligns perfectly with my personal goal of inspiring and empowering seniors and women from diverse backgrounds. The emphasis on team-building and personal growth at the pageant, combined with my contributions like the Annual Queens Ball, Coronation Night, and Pageant Boot Camp, make my role as State Director of Nevada a testament to my Vision of Creating Meaningful, Life-Changing Experiences for others. My Journey reflects not only a commitment to personal excellence but also a profound dedication to empowering others to find their voice and their own unique beauty. My Leadership continues to pave the way for more seniors and women across all cultures to step into the spotlight and proudly showcase who they are. Planning for 2025 and beyond, recruiting for next year's Ms. World International and Ms. Universe Pageant, and continuing to bring cultural diversity and empowerment to the forefront is my legacy; one of inclusivity, respect, and inspiration for future generations! As the State Director of Nevada 2024 for Ms. World International and Ms. Universe, my ultimate goal is to perpetuate cultural diversity; embrace, respect, and learn from each other's culture, language, customs, and tradition! As they say, when you learn a new language, you gain a new world!

As Director of the Year 2024, I intend to inspire more Accomplished Seniors to join the Pageant and be proud of who they are and who they have become! After all, age is just a number; it’s how you carry yourself, be able to showcase elegantly the entire package, and share your God-given Talents wholeheartedly and unconditionally, which are what matters most!
