World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you? Women Empowerment to me is help another women grow and rise high. Empowering women to me means participate fully in economic life across all sectors to build stronger economies, achieve internationally agreed goals for development and sustainability, and improve the quality of life for women, men, families and communities. Tell the women in my life that I do care for them and they play important role in society. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history. I have never been part of any beauty pageant, Mrs India UK was my first ever beauty pageant. World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant? I have always been fascinated by beauty pageants since my childhood. It was always a dream until I actually confronted and applied to it. My biggest inspiration was the confidence of my family in me and my well-wishers. Secondly, my inspiration came from the urge of spreading Yoga & Meditation in people around me for the betterment of society. World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? I chose to compete in MRS India UK as it is the first ever platform dedicated to Indian/Indian ethnicity married women residing in UK. Being one of the first trademark pageant, it encourages empowered women to be a part of this platform to advocate various social causes. They have supported multiple charities addressing and raising awareness in the areas of Allergy Awareness campaigns, Environment safety campaigns, Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking, Water Aid, Girl Child Education to name a few. World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about? The uniqueness and strength of this platform is the quality of brilliant mentors and the bespoke pageant programs and their excellent grooming sessions that no other pageant currently has. It is one of the best pageants where one can get maximum International opportunities with top pageants like Mrs Universe, Mrs International, Mrs Earth etc., and its achievements Internationally by winners add to the credibility of the platform. Being Mrs India UK 2019 Classic – 3rd runner up I will be representing Scotland as Mrs Scotland Universe 2019 in Guangzhou, China in December 2019. World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition? In this pageant, the most wonderful thing is that there are various evaluation rounds and different judges for evaluating the contestants. The areas of competition are code of conduct, fitness, photoshoot, talent, national costume, catwalk, presentations, stage presence, public speaking etc. This gives the edge to the finalists to showcase and perform the best into their strengths and score high. The judging starts from day one when we join in the Orientation. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition. The overall experience of the pageant was outstanding and amazing. I experienced diversified culture brought new learning for me. All 28 contestants were strong in their own ways and it was all fun with excellent networking with the most strongest and competent British Asian women of UK.
