Status: Single World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share a bit about who you are? What are your passions outside of the pageant world?

Hi, I’m Natali Bilska! I’ve been a professional model since my school days, working in fashion shows and as a photo model for various brands. I currently live in Istanbul, where I continue to build my career both here and across Europe. Outside the pageant world, my passions include travel and fashion—two interests that make modeling the ideal job for me, as it allows me to explore new places and styles.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I’m curious about your education journey. What's it been like for you? Any particular highlights or challenges?

I am a trained stylist and makeup artist, having graduated from the Kyiv Academy of Hairdressing Art. My journey into modeling began early, during my school years. I studied at the Beautiful Models agency for a year, which offered unforgettable experiences that required both character and creativity. Like many young girls, I had insecurities, but modeling helped me work through them, building confidence and resilience. One of my biggest challenges at first was performing in front of an audience, especially in fashion shows, which felt daunting. Over time, though, those fears faded, and I began to embrace the unique energy that comes with each show and photoshoot. These experiences were transformative, helping me grow in ways I hadn’t imagined at the start.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Women's empowerment is such a key topic. What does it mean to you personally?

To me, women’s empowerment means creating an environment where women can express themselves freely, pursue their goals, and access equal opportunities. It’s about breaking down societal barriers, challenging stereotypes, and supporting one another in achieving our ambitions. Empowerment involves not just individual success but also creating a community where women uplift each other and contribute to a more equitable society.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you get into pageants? What sparked your interest initially?

As a model, I observed many beautiful women entering pageants for various reasons, like building confidence, developing public speaking skills, or engaging in community service. Often, it’s the chance to showcase talents and advocate for causes they’re passionate about that sparks initial interest. The competitive yet supportive environment also provides a platform for personal growth and meaningful connections. Being crowned a queen is challenging yet deeply rewarding, as it offers the opportunity to represent one’s culture, traditions, and values.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What motivated you to participate in your first pageant? Was there a defining moment?

I stumbled upon an ad online about the national beauty contest “Princess of Ukraine 2021.” I filled out the application, and to my surprise, I was invited! I was thrilled because the contest covered accommodation, meals, and even provided designer dresses, which made participating an easy decision. We had daily rehearsals to learn choreography, making the experience both challenging and exciting. The final was held at the drama theater in Chernihiv, with performances by famous singers, making it an unforgettable event. Winning the title of “Miss Princess Elegance Ukraine 2021” and receiving my first crown were moments of pure happiness that marked the beginning of my pageant journey.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? What made it stand out for you?

I chose to compete for my current title because it was an incredible opportunity to represent my country on an international stage, which stood out as a chance to make a meaningful impact. I’m thrilled to represent Ukraine as Ms. Millennial Ukraine 2024 at MS World International 2024 in Miami. I brought home the second runner-up crown, placed in the top 5, and earned the title of MS Runway Model of the Year. I am immensely grateful to everyone who supported me throughout this journey.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I'd love to know more about your pageant system. Could you explain what it’s all about?

I’m happy to share more about the beauty pageant system I participated in. It’s a global competition, and being a part of it was an incredible experience. The Miss World International 2024 pageant is renowned worldwide, and I was thrilled to represent my country on such a prestigious stage. After passing the casting, I prepared all necessary documents for my trip to the USA. Receiving the official invitation from the organizers was exhilarating. Preparation took about four months and involved gathering an extensive wardrobe and creating a video presentation. I was fortunate to have the invaluable support of Ukrainian and Turkish designers for my outfits and my national director, Alena Boyko, who guided me through every step. The competition program included pre-finals and finals, narrowing contestants down to the top 20, top 10, top 5, and finally the winner. I am incredibly proud to have placed second among so many talented participants worldwide.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What do you think sets your pageant director apart from others?

What truly sets my pageant director, Alena Boyko, apart is her unwavering dedication and personalized approach. She not only offers guidance but also understands the unique strengths and qualities each contestant brings, helping us showcase them authentically on the international stage. Alena’s experience in the pageant world is invaluable; she offers insights that go beyond the basics, from building confidence to fine-tuning every detail of our presentations. Alena is a former Miss Ukraine beauty queen herself, bringing extensive experience and insights from her own pageant journey, which allows her to guide and mentor with a depth of knowledge that truly sets her apart. Her role in my journey has been both inspiring and irreplaceable.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: During competitions, what are the key things you're judged on?

In competitions, contestants are judged on several key aspects, including stage presence, confidence, and poise during segments like evening gown, swimwear, and talent performances. Communication skills are crucial as well; judges evaluate our ability to articulate thoughts clearly and express our values and opinions effectively. This competition is for confident women who embody strength and individuality. Judges look for originality, purpose, and how well contestants represent cultural and ethical values. Beyond beauty, it’s about showcasing inner qualities, leadership, and uniqueness.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your competition experience been like? Any memorable moments or learnings?

My competition experience has been both incredible and challenging. This pageant is fiercely competitive, with participants from around the world, which pushes you to grow stronger. I’m immensely proud to carry the title of Ms. Millennial Ukraine 2024 at MS World International 2024. One of the most memorable parts was the beautiful city of Miami. The environment was fantastic, and we had the chance to sunbathe and swim in the ocean, which made the journey even more enjoyable and unforgettable.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Would you recommend your pageant system to others? If so, why?

Absolutely, I would highly recommend my pageant system to others. Competing at MS World International has been life-changing, offering so much more than just a title. It’s an empowering platform that allows you to grow, push boundaries, and connect with talented, inspiring women worldwide. This pageant emphasizes confidence, individuality, and the importance of a unique voice, encouraging contestants to showcase their authentic selves. I developed lifelong skills, from public speaking to self-confidence, and had wonderful opportunities for cultural exchange and friendship. For anyone looking to make a mark, become more self-assured, and influence positively, this pageant system is a perfect choice.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: With your title, what kinds of appearances or activities have you been involved in?

Since competing in the Miss World International 2024 beauty pageant, I've been invited to various high-profile events and activities. These include walking the red carpet at the 81st Venice Film Festival, participating in haute couture shows, and making appearances with Fashion TV. I’ve also had the chance to take part in fashion shows in Milan and Paris. Media outlets and press in Ukraine have started to recognize my achievements, celebrating my role as a source of national pride after placing second in this prestigious competition. It’s been an honor to represent Ukraine on such a global level and continue building connections in the fashion industry.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share some of your achievements, both in and outside of pageantry?

Certainly! In pageantry, one of my proudest achievements has been earning the title of Ms. Millennial Ukraine 2024 and placing as the second runner-up at Miss World International 2024. This accomplishment has allowed me to represent my country on an international stage, which is a great honor. Additionally, I received the title of MS Runway Model of the Year, reflecting my dedication and effort in this competitive field. I have also won numerous titles and crowns, including:

Outside of pageantry, I’ve engaged in activities that promote cultural exchange and community service, reflecting my passion for making a positive impact. In the future, I aspire to open my own modeling school or project to share my experience and guide others on their journey. I’m also a national director and mentor for several beauty pageants, helping young women prepare and reach their full potential in the industry. This role allows me to share my insights and skills with the next generation, which is incredibly fulfilling and inspiring.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: In such a competitive field, what do you think makes you stand out?

In this competitive field, my unique combination of experience, passion, and commitment to personal growth make me stand out. My journey through various pageants has given me a wealth of knowledge, resilience, and insight into presenting myself confidently. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I can only imagine how it feels to win. What was going through your mind when your name was announced as the winner?

When my name was announced, it was a moment of pure disbelief and overwhelming joy. All the months of preparation, dedication, and hard work suddenly flashed before my eyes, and I felt an incredible sense of pride and gratitude. My mind raced with excitement, but at the same time, I felt a deep responsibility to honor the title I had just earned. Representing my country on an international stage made the moment even more meaningful. Winning wasn’t just about the title; it was about the journey, the people who supported me, and the purpose behind every step I took. I felt immense gratitude for everyone who believed in me, and I knew I was ready to embrace the role wholeheartedly.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does being a Beauty Queen mean to you?

Being a Beauty Queen means much more to me than wearing a crown or holding a title. It’s about embodying grace, strength, and the ability to inspire others. To me, it’s a commitment to being a role model and a positive influence, showing that beauty isn’t only about appearance but also about character, resilience, and empathy. As a Beauty Queen, I have the opportunity to make a difference—through charity work, empowering other women, or representing my country with pride on the international stage. It’s a platform that allows me to share my experiences, mentor others, and advocate for causes close to my heart. Ultimately, it’s about carrying the responsibility of this role with pride and using it as a force for good, helping others see their own potential and beauty.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants impacted your life?

Pageants have profoundly impacted my life, shaping me into a more confident, resilient, and purpose-driven person. They’ve taught me how to push beyond my limits, embrace challenges, and present the best version of myself. Through competition and preparation, I’ve developed invaluable skills—from public speaking and stage presence to time management and poise—that benefit me in all areas of life. Beyond skills, pageants have connected me with inspiring people worldwide, fostering friendships and a sense of community. They’ve also given me the honor of representing my country internationally, a responsibility that fills me with pride and drives me to continue growing. Most importantly, pageants have given me the opportunity to mentor and uplift others, sharing the lessons I’ve learned to help others succeed.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants influenced your self-esteem and body image?

Pageants have had a profound, positive influence on my self-esteem and body image. They’ve taught me to embrace my unique qualities and to present myself with confidence. Competing on a stage where appearance is part of the evaluation could be intimidating, but I've learned to celebrate my individuality rather than striving for perfection. Pageantry has shown me that beauty is about confidence, authenticity, and how you carry yourself. Preparing for competitions encourages me to maintain a healthy lifestyle—not just for appearance but to feel strong, energized, and at my best. Watching myself grow with each competition has built my self-worth, reminding me that true beauty shines through confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset. This journey has deepened my appreciation for my body, focusing on how it supports my dreams rather than solely on its appearance.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your strategy for captivating the judges on stage?

I believe authenticity is key. When I am truly myself, it resonates with the judges. Professionalism and presentation are essential, as is the motive behind my participation—I proudly represent Ukrainian culture and our people. Body language is crucial too; I use my posture, eye contact, and movements to show confidence and poise. Every step and gesture can convey excitement or confidence. Engaging directly with the judges by making eye contact, smiling naturally, and radiating positivity creates a powerful connection. Preparation is essential—practicing my walk, poses, and responses helps me feel ready and reduces the need to focus on minor details on stage.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How do you prepare for competitions? Any specific routines or practices?

Preparing for competitions is a dedicated and inspiring process. I stay active and maintain a consistent fitness routine to feel strong and confident on stage. I spend significant time rehearsing my walk and speech, which are essential for a powerful impression. I work closely with my national director, stylist, and tailor to ensure each outfit detail is flawless. Although I get a bit nervous, the excitement motivates me to give my best. Setting high goals pushes me to improve, fueling my passion for pageantry. This dedication not only enhances my skills but also prepares me mentally for each competition.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Got any tips for nailing the perfect pageant walk?

Connecting with the audience is essential for a successful pageant walk. Stand out by giving a genuine smile or pausing slightly—it creates a memorable moment. Beauty pageants offer room for personal flair, so add a unique touch that highlights your personality. If nervous, slowing down your walk helps make any mistakes less noticeable, and allows time to regain composure. Confidence is everything—feel the rhythm of the music, and if anything goes wrong, act as if it was intentional. This composure greatly influences how judges and the audience perceive you.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Choosing the right pageant dress can be crucial. What are your tips for making the best choice?

Choosing the perfect pageant dress is essential, and I recommend custom tailoring. Given my height, a custom fit helps me stand out. Flowing fabrics and sparkles add elegance and glamour on stage. The dress should flatter your figure, enhancing your best features. Comfort is crucial too; long stage and filming hours mean you need a dress that’s practical as well as beautiful. I’ve experienced dresses that restricted movement or felt too tight, making standing for extended periods difficult. The right balance of style and comfort can make all the difference.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Interview rounds can be tricky. What are your strategies for a winning interview?

My approach is to deliver a clear, confident, and concise response within a minute. Here’s my structure:

1. Introduction: Start with a warm introduction, sharing my name, country, and a bit about myself, including background and current pursuits.

2. Significance of the Pageant: Briefly explain the personal and cultural importance of the competition.

3. Goals as Winner: Outline the positive impact I aim to make if I win, demonstrating my vision and commitment.

Throughout, I keep a confident tone, speak clearly, and use pauses to let my words resonate, ensuring a lasting impression.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Looking back, is there a moment in a competition you wish you could redo?

Yes, there’s definitely a moment I’d redo. In one of my early competitions, my focus on perfection made me nervous on stage, affecting my presence and energy. If I could go back, I’d remind myself to relax, trust my preparation, and fully enjoy the experience rather than aiming for perfection. That moment taught me the importance of staying grounded, a lesson I now carry into every competition.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What common mistakes do you see others making in contests?

A common mistake I see is contestants trying too hard to fit a certain "ideal," instead of showcasing their true personalities. Authenticity is essential, and judges can tell when someone isn’t genuine. Overthinking the walk or poses can also lead to stiffness, affecting natural confidence. During interviews, some contestants rush their answers to cover too much. Focusing on a few meaningful points with clear speech is more impactful. Finally, choosing an uncomfortable outfit can be a big issue, as it can distract from performing confidently on stage.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Do you have any experience in modeling or acting?

Yes, I have extensive modeling experience, both on stage and in photoshoots, as well as in public speaking on Ukrainian and international platforms where I share insights about Ukraine. I've modeled for various brands and walked the runways of Paris for high-fashion designers. Currently, I hold the title of Top Model Ukraine, an achievement I’m proud to represent.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans or goals for the upcoming year as a Queen?

As a Queen, I aim to make a meaningful impact and further my pageant and modeling careers. I plan to take on charitable projects, expand my modeling internationally, and launch a modeling school or project where I can mentor aspiring models. I want to use my platform to inspire, make a difference, and represent Ukraine with pride.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Finally, what kind of legacy do you hope to leave behind?

I hope to leave a legacy that inspires and empowers those in the modeling and pageant industry. I plan to write a book about modeling, sharing my journey and insights. Through mentorship, I aim to promote confidence, authenticity, and self-belief. I want to help others achieve their dreams and make a positive impact on the industry I’m passionate about.
