World Class Models Magazine: How were you discovered?
I started by applying for castings. The very first one was a photogenic-based casting. At the end of this competition, I won a photo shoot in Paris. As I went along, I started to collaborate with photographers and to develop my portfolio/book. Then, I applied to modeling agencies.
World Class Models Magazine: What made you decide to become a model?
I was often referred to modeling, that I was tall and slender. So I wanted to try my luck by starting with castings.
World Class Models Magazine: What is your favorite style of modeling and why?
I really like Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid and Cindy Mello. They are charismatic women. I love their faces and they have very beautiful bodies while having shapes.
World Class Models Magazine: Who's your mother agency and why did you choose them. Or why do you freelance?
For a very long time I had a mother agency and it was she who developed my book for me. Today I no longer have a mother agency but I am in modeling agencies. I also do freelance alongside.
World Class Models Magazine: Which designers did had a chance to model for?
I walked for Norah Alhumaid, Yasmina Couture, Abed Mahfouz, Fatim Filali Idrissi (GR. Fashion). They are oriental designers who organize the Oriental Fashion Show in Paris every year. The dresses are very luxurious.
World Class Models Magazine: Which designer was your favorite and why?
I think my favorite designer I walked the runway for is Abed Mahfouz. The dresses were really sublime, sophisticated and the show at the Louvre was magnificent.
World Class Models Magazine: Which major fashion shows have you modeled in?
Oriental fashion show
Franck Provost
International Hairdressing Awards
World Class Models Magazine: Which fashion show was your favorite and why?
I like what is sophisticated. I would choose the fashion show International Hairdressing Awards at Madrid for the organization which was perfect. The hairstyles were extravagant and I love it. The decor, the music were all there!
Finally, the Oriental Fashion Show was also really beautiful to see. In a very different and more elegant style.
World Class Models Magazine: What is your biggest success as a model so far?
My first job abroad, the famous fashion show in Madrid. I hope I can get other jobs abroad!
World Class Models Magazine: What is your secret to scoring runway jobs?
For me there are no real secrets. You have to go to the castings, give the best of yourself and be taken!
World Class Models Magazine: Tell us about your upcoming fashion shows.
At the moment, I don't have any next shows. Fashion week this year will be very special. With the covid, many fashion show have been canceled.
World Class Models Magazine: Tell us about some of your favorite photoshoots.
My favorite photo shoots are editorials for magazines. Why ? Quite simply because everything is organized in a meticulous way. The makeup, the hairstyle, the styling, the place: everything is coordinated. We can only obtain a beautiful result! World Class Models Magazine: What is your secret to finding the right photographers to work with and why?
When it comes to a job, I don't worry about choosing the photographer. Everything is organized by the brand or the magazine that organizes the shoot. If it is a simple collaborative test, I let my contacts work or I rework with former photographers.
World Class Models Magazine: How do you prepare for a photoshoot?
It all depends on the photoshoot, whether it's a big day or just a few hours. As a rule of thumb, I try to get a good night's sleep the night before to avoid dark circles and drink plenty of water. The same day I avoid eating too heavy because I prefer to feel light to be free of my movements. As soon as possible, especially when changing my look, I take off the heels and let my feet rest in comfortable shoes. And the morning I drink a coffee!
World Class Models Magazine: Any modeling tips for up and coming models?
I think that to succeed as a model, you need a healthy lifestyle: eat well, in a balanced way and play sports. There is also very little room for modesty and especially not to be shy! Don't be afraid to go ahead and be criticized!
World Class Models Magazine: Any video commercial or film experience?
I did 2 video shoots for hairstyle brands. First, I did a hairstyle tutorial shoot for The Real Campus - L'Oréal's first hairdressing school that opened in Paris about a year ago. These videos are made for training purposes for hairdressers. Then I did the same type of shooting, but this time for Franck Provost just a few weeks ago!
World Class Models Magazine: Do you volunteer for any cause?
If I had to support a cause it would most certainly be the animal cause and violence against women.
World Class Models Magazine: What is your personal fashion style?
I like to dress in a sophisticated way but I also like to be comfortable in my clothes. I can very well opt for a simple t-shirt / jeans / basket / perfect look or put on a pretty dress or shirt. As I am very tall, I don't often wear heels during the day except when I go out at night!
World Class Models Magazine: What is your secret to success.
I think the key to being successful is really persistence. It took several years before I landed my first job! You have to make yourself known, be active so as not to be forgotten and make contact!
World Class Models Magazine: What would you like to accomplish as a model in 2020.
The year is almost over! But what I would like it would be to make an advertisement broadcast on television!
World Class Models Magazine: What would be your ultimate modeling dream job?
My ultimate dream job as a model would be to do Fashion Week in Milan or New York! And as mentioned before, I would like to do commercial advertising for big brands.
World Class Models Magazine: What is your overall modeling goal?
My goal as a model would be to join a top agency and be a full-time model for several years!
World Class Models Magazine: What legacy as a model would you like to leave behind?
I would like to be able to pass on what I learned in the world of modeling and fashion. Advise future models who arrive in this world. Who knows, maybe I could do a retraining as a booker later!
World Class Models Magazine: Where can we learn more about your work?
