World Class London Models Magazine: Tell us about yourself. I am Karolina, an international model and social influencer based in London. In my six year career I did various London Fashion Week shows, a few commercial campaigns such as one for celebrity designer Jeff Garner, Victoria Beckham, DFMA Make-up Academy, as well as having had publications in magazines such as X, Y Z. I am also a full-time mother of a beautiful 12-year-old daughter. In my free time, I love to hit the gym, do a variety of sports, play chess, and catching up with my friends. World Class London Models Magazine: When did you decide to become a model? I have never thought about doing professional modelling before, as I felt I did not have the confidence to do it. After a failed marriage and single motherhood, I accidentally fell into modelling, as I was approached by a professional photographer. For the first time in a while my time felt worthwhile again, I enjoyed the connection with a creative team, learned to appreciate myself and my body again, and met so many interesting people along the way. World Class London Models Magazine: Are you the first person in your family who decided follow the world of fashion? Yes, I'm. There has not been any interest in the fashion world from anyone in my family before. Fashion was the thing you could only see on TV or in the magazines. So yes, I was the first one in my family to discover it. Maybe my daughter is going to follow into my footsteps, let's see! World Class London Models Magazine: What was the first brand or designer that hired you? In the beginning, I supported a lot of start-up brands and independent designers. Later on, I did some London Fashion Week shows for Victoria Beckham, Pierre Garroudi, Jeff Garner, SMGlobal Catwalk, as well as private fashion shows and red carpet events. Commercial Clients also included Next, Ted Baker, Top Shop and House of Fraser. A particular passion of mine has been supporting runways for a cause. To give you an example, the Positive Runway - to Stop the Spread is a voluntary global HIV/AIDS response campaign that I took part in. The annual runway show "Models of Diversity" is another body positivity runway which I am highly supporting as well.

World Class London Models Magazine: What runways around the world would you like to do next? I would like to do New York and Milan Fashion Week at some point. In fact, I already have exciting plans for Milan for this upcoming season! More to be revealed closer to date. World Class London Models Magazine: Who is your favorite fashion designer? I have fallen in love with Julian Macdonald's collections! If you want to be a feminine, strong and desirable woman that people look up to, you should wear his cloth! He matches my personal style to one hundred percent! World Class London Models Magazine: What has given and give you the career as a model in your life? I started to be my own boss and take ownership over my own projects, as well as becoming the director of Brazilian celebrity designer Elly Silveira, whom I represent in the European market. Modelling has also strengthened my character, improved my confidence and has given me a new approach to life. There were so many opportunities coming my way that I never thought were a possibility, coming from a small town in Poland. World Class London Models Magazine: What advice you would give to up and coming models who want to insert themselves into the fashion world? Firstly, I would advice young aspiring models to go where the opportunity is. I would not be able to do the same work in Poland, but luckily, I am living in a city of a multitude of opportunities. Secondly, finding a legitimate agent and establishing a strong network for yourself is key in this industry. There are a lot of scam agencies that monetize upon inexperienced models without bringing them any value. I highly recommend making contact with existing models or people who have some sort of experience in the industry. Do your research, and be careful about whom you are meeting, and you should be fine. The main thing to understand is that modelling is not as glamorous as the pictures may suggest. It is not easy to enter the industry, especially when you try to do it by yourself. I am a determined person, because I had to push myself in life... I had to start from scratch, I did not have an easy start and much support at the beginning of my journey. Whatever I achieved I owe to myself. The more people told me that I cannot achieve certain things, the more I wanted to prove to them that I could make it happen. World Class London Models Magazine: What kind of work do you prefer, runway or campaigns? I love all of my fashion work! Runways are exciting because of the amount of people and the positive energy, however, campaigns consist of working in smaller teams and can give you more exposure. World Class London Models Magazine: Do you have any upcoming projects? I started to do more of my own projects lately - I am creating content for various magazines, organizing my own teams and implementing my own creative visions. If there is anyone who would be interested in working together, they are more than welcome to reach out to me. World Class London Models Magazine: Tell us where we can find you? My Instagram is @karola3626_. Happy to connect on there! World Class London Models Magazine would like to say thank you for this wonderful interview and we wish you all the best!
