World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about yourself.
A Singaporean born in Taiping, Perak, a town it’s known for its well-preserved colonial architecture, which is about 260km northwest of Kuala Lumpur - the capital of Malaysia. I lived with my lovely parents and born as the only daughter in my family.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about your education.
I never fail to disappoint my parents about my studies. I completed my Pre-University studies in Malaysia, then I left my childhood town to study in Singapore as a young adult in my 20s. I invested myself heavily in diploma before degree in Accountancy studies from UK university.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does women Empowerment means to you?
Never underestimate our ability to achieve great things. As a woman we have specific attributes that are inherent in us, discover and act on that then share the best experience to the world.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your pageant history.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
I have always embraced pageantry since young. In 2005, I had my first pageant experience, Miss Taiping. That was when I knew it's a calling, the passion and love in my core that gives one the desire to leave the comfort zone and stepped onto the stage and chased the dream!
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I have been grateful for this unique chance, after my first born won the title as the Grand Winner of Singapore Baby of the Year 2020. With the love and support from my family, I am able to, once again, taking this leap of faith to compete in the Mrs Singapore beauty pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
There are numerous Miss/ Mrs Singapore beauty pageant organizers in the country that are associated to the international platform. Lumiere International Pageantry is one of them and holds the largest Pageantry in the world.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition?
Personality, catwalk and poises, beauty and confidence, talent round in the showcase of stage performance and of course, interview.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
As the show started, it was nerve racking, but as it went on, I started to enjoy the Pageant. And the next thing I knew, it was over.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
I am a mother who highly value Breastmilk as the best source of healthiest food for baby. I am proud to be a successful breastfeeding mum and it warms my heart to be a qualified Breastmilk donor to the national milk bank at KK Women’s and Children’s hospital in 2020. Through this episode, I am able to bless my supply to the premature babies who is in need of Breastmilk in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) while waiting for their mother’s Breastmilk to arrive after birth.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What appearances have you done with your title?
Become the ambassador to Lumiere Wellness International. Being invited to judge national beauty pageant and more brands partnership collaboration.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are some of your achievements?
One of my greatest achievement would be the ability of footing my tuition fees in University by working full time while I managed to accomplish my part-time bachelor’s degree with honours from UK University.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls? Beauty must always be backed by quality and substance. In that I refer to inner beauty like music, arts, intelligence and knowledge. I am surprised with myself for putting so much effort in upgrading myself for this event such as dance and music as well as doing research in presenting the best. Thus I would see the hunger to upgrade and success is one key factor I see myself clearly an X factor.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
I was thrilled and unbelievable that the moment I am in right now has happened to me in 17 years back. Just like a replay chapter rolling again.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
More than the appearance, it is the inner beauty that matters most in developing inner self especially in my confidence and ability in doing things I have never attempted before. Also, the experience and learning point in giving back to society is also key in ensuring we, as individual learn to cherish the present and blessing in helping the less privileged.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
It makes a more confident and assuring me knowing I can certainly conquer my inner hurdle in doing things i dream of. Only now it is the dreams that becomes a reality and achievement in my life. Also, it also allows me to widen my social network in knowing fellow contestants from competitors to friends and some friends for life.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?
Boosts my confidence and inner being going through the series of training and lessons. It results in a stronger me.
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
Those who knows me personally would know nothing is impossible through hard work and perseverance. Hope this inspire them to do for their dreams.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over.
Simply be yourself and know there is no right or wrong answer to all questions. In all answer, support with life experiences and true feeling to express your thoughts.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition?
Stay fit as the key to ensure I have the stamina for all trainings and lessons despite my usual busy work schedule. Have mutual support from my beloved hubby in supporting me especially in the care of my child.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Watching the inspiring former Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray’s iconic “Lava Walk”. It featured a great runaway walk and tips in stage confidence.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
Choose a pageant gown that makes you thrive and blossom. Always trust your gut felling especially we as woman are blessed with such gift. Know the colour that makes you stand out and shine like a diamond.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for winning interview?
Confidence is Queen. We all can forget the preparation we had especially on stage but we just trust our gut feel and hunch to carry on with the best answer to our opinions. There is no right or wrong answer.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
Never stop learning in the pageant journey. I suppose I could have done better during interview session. However, nothing is 100% perfect and foolproof on actual day.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
Be confident and stay focus. Avoid comparing yourself to other contestants, that probably will result in error during preparation or falling behind the pack.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Any modeling or acting experience?
Social media influencer in collaboration with brands and featuring in some local commercial Ads.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans for 2022 as a Queen?
Getting ready for more first to be prepared for my upcoming Mrs Asia Pacific international pageant and target that crown for my country! In addition, volunteering to the society by continuing to gather support charity and encourage charitable giving;. Also, it involves spreading awareness of supporting paw-parent animal adoption and last but not the least, I hope to help the helpless.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
A woman that rises to the occasion against all odds and makes up the gaps in areas she lacks by investing in herself to learn the skills and techniques on all requirements. In the process of doing so, she has flourished into a confident and assuring individual that regards stage performance and showmanship as second nature attribute.
