World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share a bit about who you are? Like, what are your passions outside of the pageant world?
I am a Jurist Doctor of Law, Certified License Real Estate Broker, Entrepreneur, Home Maker and a Servant to the Lord. I was a working student during my college years and got married at 23 and concentrated on rearing 3 children and helping in the family business at the same time and took my Law School and finished it. I took up Real Estate Licensed Broker course also and succeeded in being licensed and certified. As a Licensed Real Estate Broker I concentrated into land developments. I built low rise buildings, townhouses, apartments, houses with swimming pools and of course selling real estate properties. I sell mostly what I constructed. My last project was Sakura Spaces a low rise building with 43 units of studios and 1 bedroom units all for lease or rentals in the heart of Mandaluyong City, Philippines. When pandemic came I stopped constructing but continued selling what I have built and to my amazement sold my projects simultaneously. Since the pandemic I shifted to farming lots and grew plants and vegetables for personal consumptions and for my staff for sustainability. And for good health above all. All Organic! No pesticides just naturally made concoctions that I make out of kitchen waste products. I also planted rice to complete the sustainability of everyone around me.
I have been a lover of nature. I have been mountain climbing for 2 decades already simultaneously with pole dancing, hoops, sexy heels, chair dance, zumba and whatever trends comes up to be physically fit always. Took up ballet lessons too! Everything changed on the onset of pandemic Hiking and studio dancing was halted. But zoom was born years b4 the pandemic so everything was done online. So the dancing frenzy didn't stop for me. I do zumba in the morning almost everyday online and doing floorworks in the afternoon with chair dancing too. So that all kept me busy during the pandemic.
On quite days like weekends I do yoga to calm and cleanse my mind and rejuvenate. I am also into gardening that I got from my mother because I never got tired of planting. It was amplified during the pandemic. And when not found on land I am at the ocean free diving with turtles, school of fishes, and all wonderful creations of God under water like corals and sceneries in the depth of the sea in just one breath. Then came modelling and pageantry and the rest is history!
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I’m curious about your education journey. What's it been like for you, any particular highlights or challenges?
We are 5 siblings in the family and we are all lucky to have finished all our college courses by working daytime and going to University at night. Thank you to our ever strict parents who valued education the most and supported us when we were growing up. The highlight of my career has been tremendously successful. I started working at a tender age of 16 and manage to tell myself that I will retire at the age of 35 and I was up to date with that. But offers still comes so I just go on with what life has to offer me.
My college of Law days was a bit challenging for me because of my 3rd baby. I just had a baby so it was kind a difficult and challenging to get my studies in place. But with perseverance and determination I finished my Juris Doctor of Law in time. It was a proud moment to have my 2 other grown ups walk with me on stage and receive my diploma.
I was into Building and Selling at the same time and so I took up classes to make me a Certified Licensed Real Estate Broker and thank God I made it!
Everything is possible when you believe it!
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Women's empowerment is such a key topic. What does it mean to you personally?
Yes! Women's Empowerment is such a key topic everywhere nowadays especially in beauty pageants. Personally for me as a Beauty Queen Women's Empowerment means using our pageants platform and influence to advocate women's rights, right to education, healthcare, economic opportunities and representation of women in the society that we are living in.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you get into pageants? What sparked your interest initially?
Very nice question. I usually get appointed into pageants whether during schools days to college days and up to now as a nearly senior adult ha ha! I feel so lucky and blessed in such circumstances.
Usually I get to be appointed to do hosting while working for a government entity during the beginnings of my college days. And during College of Law days I get to be appointed also to compete in a Beauty Contest on National Level. And all that I get to win and had the title of Miss ALSP. What sparked my interest in a pageant was the thought of me always doing kind of man's job so I was wishing for a woman's kind of job after my 30s because I have been working with all men while doing Construction days and God here it is a Pageant appointment that turned me into a Queen!

Very good question. My pageant director is a very nice kind hearted person. His talent in teaching modelling lessons is superb and he can execute it to a real stage performance. His ability to make each face of an individual stands out beautifully thru his talent and skills in hair and make up makes him unique. His motivating talks can give you clearance on your clouds in the head. He treats his candidates as a real asset to his ramp and most of all he is not an opportunist. He delights in high moral standards.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: During competitions, what are the key things you're judged on?
The #1 thing that we candidates for a pageant are judged on is of being you! On how you execute every move you take on the stage and off the stage.
It is also important to note that different pageants have specific judging criteria tailored to their focus and values.
And typically, I believe that contestants are judged on a variety of criteria, which may include
1. Beauty and Poise which includes their posture, grace, and stage presence.
2. Talent portion where you showcase your skills.
3. Intelligence and communication skills
4. Personality and Charisma where confidence and overall likability is being judged.

Keeping my physique toned at all time, keeping my skin glowing at all times, power dressing and keeping my persona interesting by being updated to all things that's happening to the world and in the modelling and pageant world that I am into for both young and old generation. And that makes me more interesting to the public to get noticed on.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I can only imagine how it feels to win. What was going through your mind when your name was announced as the winner?
When my name was announced as a Winner for I AM MODEL SEARCH MRS INTERNATIONAL 2023 Classic Division everything in my mind was Pure Amazement.
Amazed that a nearly senior woman like me and 1st Time in International Pageant can win a major title. Perplexed a bit because I couldn't believe I Won!! And later was humbled and Honoured to be chosen the title of Body Beautiful and Mrs International Classic 2023
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does being a Beauty Queen mean to you?
For me a beauty queen is a beacon of inspiration and empowerment. She must possess grace, elegance, and poise. Beauty Queens means humble leaders, clear communicators, and advocates for self-love and self-resilience True beauty transcends physical appearance and lies within the character. She should also display intelligence, charisma, and excellent communication skills .. A queen can be fierce, yet gentle; powerful, yet compassionate. She is a queen not because she has crown, but because of how she carries herself. A queen knows that her beauty shines from within. It is not just about how you look, but how you make others feel. True Beauty Queen radiates from within, illuminating the world with love, kindness, and grace. Queen's don't break, they become unbreakable"
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants impacted your life?
Pageants have impacted my life tremendously. Because pageantry didn't stop me to pursue my young dreams and aspirations in life. It gave life to all my once upon a time aspiration in life. It gave more value and meaning to my life. It gave me wider perspective of what life has to offer, networks, goals and plans to fulfill in the coming years of my life. That's how great Pageantry is. It exposes you to what the world can offer and what you are capable of having.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants influenced your self-esteem and body image?
Pageants have influenced my self-esteem into highest level for I have become a figure of Philippine pride (my country's pride), a symbol of stability and continuity of why queens are being heralded around the World. It has defined my society's status all the more. As for influencing my body-image, pageants have inspired me more to continue embracing my uniqueness and shine brightly from the inside out. It taught me to let my inner beauty be my crown, my kindness be my gown, and my compassion be my sash.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You’re an inspiration to many. How does that feel, and what message do you want to share with others?
Thank you very much! I am very much humbled and grateful to be considered as an inspiration to many. My message that I want to share with others is I would like to continue to be an inspiration to all of you, For people of all walks of life from kids to adults, young and old whether in Fashion or in Pageantry World and into the society I want to be an exemplary example of what a Beauty Queen is all about and not just being beautiful on the outside but a down to earth person to everyone in this planet. I want to help all of you to achieve your goals and aspirations in life. I would gladly share to all of you and into the World all my gained knowledges and experiences in life to help in whatever situation I can to be of service to you. I want to instill respect in every cultural diversities, and to be a woman of leadership and innovation to you and of others. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your strategy for captivating the judges on stage?
Hmm my strategy for captivating the judges on stage is by looking at them directly into the eyes while performing on stage and telling them this is Me!! The embodiment of what your looking for as the next Beauty Queen for this Pageant!! And of course presenting your own performance and parade that you have long practiced off stage at your very Best!!
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How do you prepare for competitions? Any specific routines or practices?
Good question! The very best time I have practiced my routines was done 2 months before the pageant and is the best time that I was really serious on the training. This is aside of course with your long time habits and practices that is already instilled with you and into your life.
First you have to prepare your body and mind if you are not really into this kind of world. What I mean in this is if you are not really inclined to pageantry in your life even before its quite hard to fix your mind and train. You have to like the idea of pageantry. Because I believe in Pageantry it shows on your every move if you are fit to be a Queen! So I should say perfect mind conditioning is the very best practice routine to start off in joining any competitions. And meditating on your success everyday as your journey commences.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Got any tips for nailing the perfect pageant walk?
Ah pageant walks!! I am watching and listening everytime to different pageant coaches.in youtube. One sentence that kept stuck in my mind as said by a very pageant coach is " You can never copy a walk of someone"
She further attested that everyone has their own walk so you can never imitate anyone's walk because that's You!! You've been yourself for the rest of your life so how can you copy a walk in just 2 or 3 days? So we all have our unique walk. We as candidates in Pageantry should just practice our walk and improve our walks or pasarela as famously called here in the Philippines adapt the trainings we have, Yes we have to train and practice everyday with your heels on to walk for number hours. I hired my private pasarela trainer to train me before I joined the pageant. And this proved to be a must for every contestants. Practice, practice, practice and mind you, you have to buy a well fitting shoes from a pageant expert shoe maker. You must have a comfortable shoes or heels to keep you going during long hours of standing in pageant events you have to be in. Whether in swim suits or evening gowns or just ordinary events your shoes should be comfortable for you.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Choosing the right pageant dress can be crucial. What are your tips for making the best choice?
Yes indeed choosing the right pageant dress is very crucial to every candidate for Pageantry. As for me, I would very much suggest to go over your body type first and see what kind of dress is best for your body and personality. Personality is considered the crucial deciding factor in choosing your dress. It should match your personality perfectly. I say this because it is very hard to carry a dress that doesnt fit your body and personality very well. Its like walking in a different you in a dress that doesnt fit your body and most of all your personality. Its hard to bring to life whatever dress your wearing if it doesn't match the criteria that I have said. This is based on my personal experience when I joined the Pageant. So ask yourself first am I this dress or analyze yourself if you can carry a dress that is not You!
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Interview rounds can be tricky. What are your strategies for a winning interview?
Good question. Yes there are lots of interviews the moment you join a Pageant so better be sure to study your Q&A portions. My proven strategies was to watch previews of beauty pageant contest on youtube on their questions and answers portion and get your mindset . I repeatedly watch them over and over again. I Studied them. Watched lots of them! I practiced everyday in answering sample questions. I formulated my own answers to each questions of the tried and tested question in a beauty pageants thru all these years.
Or better yet if you have the means in enrolling in a pageant course that includes question and answers reviews. They will help you a lot in answering and composing your own answers. Nevertheless practice everyday until the day of the pageant.
Overall I read current events, listened to news, asked former beauty queens because they have a lot to share already. Be resourceful and read a lot!
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Looking back, is there a moment in a competition you wish you could redo?
You got me thinking there...the moment in competition that I wish I could redo is the time of my crowning. I didn't lower down to have the crown placed on my head and put both of my Hands in my heart, (the usual gesture) because I was thinking the Judge who placed the crown on my head was tall enough to reach my head.
Other than that none because I believed I did my best and gave all 100% in every segment of the pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What common mistakes do you see others making in contests?
Common mistakes I see in other candidates is that they didn't have proper trainings in the pageant they are getting into. For example if its modelling first the physical appearance. Body, Acts, Movements and Performance should be model like and not just face. The groupie attitude also is a big no no. Some candidates tend to group with the likes of them. Everyone should always be together in one direction and not create groups of whatever they like to do during the pageant. I have seen some rude attitudes of candidates towards cultural diversities. Some candidates are disrespectful of the differences in traditions and culture of each nation. Not enough preparations on their costumes is also common mistakes.
I feel its better to have excess costumes than lacking than have you tensed on where to get your next costumes. it boils down into one word "preparations". Your mind should be set on all circumstances that might happen so better be prepared.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Do you have any experience in modeling or acting?
Yes during college days I get to model sometimes in different events such as Hair Styling and Event Hosting. I attended a Modelling Course also to further my modelling skills. After which I immediately joined a Pageant Contest and did trainings too for this purpose. And now I am continuing to model for different fashion designers both local and abroad. Acting will be the next I guess ha ha! So Yes I have experience in modelling.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans or goals for the upcoming year as a Queen?
Plans and Goals for the upcoming year as a Queen is simply to continue fostering an environment of empowerment, encouraging women to embrace their passions and take charge of themselves, their bodies, mental health and financial stabilities. I will continue to accept guesting, interviews to different NGOs and private invites and supporting different advocacies in showing my genuine passion for helping others and for betterment of our communities and our society by sharing all the knowledges and ideas that I have gained and learned thru the years of my existence I will continue to Thank and Bless each and everyone and the Almighty in helping me to fulfill these plans and goals.
30. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Finally, what kind of legacy do you hope to leave behind?
As the I am Model Search International Classic 2023 and Body Beautiful Beauty Queen, the Legacy that I want to leave behind is one of grace, dignity and kindness. I as Beauty Queen to leave behind a trail of inspiration for generations to come, showing that true beauty comes from within. I want to leave behind a world that is so much brighter, a world so much kinder, and so much beautiful because of my presence.
Through my words and actions, I hope to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness, to be confident in who they are, and to always strive for excellence in everything they do.
