World Class Models Magazine: Tell us about yourself.

I started working in the modeling field a long time ago, about 9 years ago, when I was still studying at the institute. But after graduating from the institute, I was faced with a choice - to continue shooting or to go on a hired job. I chose the second option. I have worked in employment for about 5 years. After that, I quit my job and went to work in the freelance sector. This gave me the opportunity and time to resume shooting. I finished modeling school. Now I'm combining modeling and design work. Also now I am engaged in manufacturing of handmade jewelry and want to develop my brand.

At first, I was mostly involved in creative shooting. Then there were commercial orders for different brands (mainly clothing, catering, medical sphere, jewelry). I also continue to take part in creative shooting, various events and shows. In addition, I am practicing photography and fashion shows for children. I work in Russia. I haven't been to international photography. A lot of girls and boys (models) come from my city to work in China, Japan and Korea. But in Asian countries my type, unfortunately, is not in demand. They need very young girls with the type "baby face". My dream of saving money and move to Europe permanently. And I hope to continue my career there. World Class Models Magazine: When did you decide to become a model?

I decided to take modeling seriously a few years ago when I changed my main job and started working in freelance. I had some time. At a time when my peers were actively creating families and models working since childhood were retiring, I decided to climb to the top of the model business. * I laugh, my life schedule doesn't match the usual notions and norms often*. To refresh my skills, I graduated from modeling school. At first it was shoots "for myself" to regain experience, and then there were commercial orders.

World Class Models Magazine: Are you the first person in your family who decided follow the fashion world? Or do you have a fashion past?

Yeah, me first. You could say that. I was born late, dad was over forty years old. My parents were born in the Soviet Union, and then there was no talk about beauty contests, shooting, especially in bathing suits or underwear.  The first official competition was held in Moscow in 1988. It was a different culture. I remember one day my mother saw a photo on my desk of me wearing a short shirt, and short shorts, we had a big fight over this picture, it was considered an indecency. But to be honest, my love of fashion and magazines came from my mother. She made custom-made things and always bought a lot of magazines with patterns. She was actively following all the fashion and style trends.

World Class Models Magazine: Who was the first designer or brand that hired you?

The very first commercial photoshoot I had was for a friend of mine. She makes costume jewellery and handmade items.

World Class Models Magazine: Any runway experience?

I took part in local designers' shows. In summer we had a festival of flowers, with guest florists from different countries. I worked for a team from Spain.

World Class Models Magazine: What runways would you like to model for?

Of course, the participation in shows of European or American designers.

World Class Models Magazine: Who is your favorite fashion designer?

I really like Givenshy's clothes. I love Michael Costello dresses very much. He makes gorgeous dresses and stage costumes for celebrities.

World Class Models Magazine: What did you learn from modeling?

It is probably more correct to say that the career of a model gives me the opportunity to self-realize, to be more confident in myself. I get a lot of pleasure not only from the result, but also from the shooting process itself. And when it also brings money, what could be more wonderful? Maybe it will be hard to believe, but in my childhood I was an incredibly shy child, and at school I was not paid attention by the boys at all, I was too skinny and studied too well. I dreamed of growing up and making I had a lot of admirers and people paying attention to me. I think I did it.

World Class Models Magazine: What advice would you give to guys or girls who want to model?

The most important thing is to always remember that rejection is not the end of the world. Everybody's never gonna like you, and that's okay. But if you're rejected in one place, you have to knock on two others and they'll open up somewhere. And you always have to remember that in addition to appearances, you have to have such qualities as diligence, patience and perseverance.

World Class Models Magazine: Do you prefer runway or campaigns?

I prefer work in campaings.

World Class Models Magazine: Do you have any upcoming projects?

Yes, I have a few projects that are currently under negotiation. Advertising shoot for a city restaurant chain, brand shoot for one of the designers, a few lookbooks. The year just started and the customers started to be active only at the end of January.
