World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does women's Empowerment mean to you?
Women empowerment means empowering every woman to search for joy and happiness within herself. To cherish that joy and spread it to humanity.
A woman is the vital link in every place may it be the household may it be the workplace. She is endowed with qualities which make her naturally able to connect people. She should be able to stand up for herself respect the persona she carries. It is well said by Anderson
“Feminism is not about making women strong. Women are already strong. It is all about changing the way the world perceives that strength”.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your pageant history.
I enrolled for the beauty pageant Mrs India International 2022 in the year 2021. I remember it was the month of September when I filled out my form, and I submitted it least expecting that I would be chosen as one of the finalists. I was called on for an audio interview with Ms Ankita Saroha and which lasted for 45 minutes. Indeed it was a pleasure talking with her and one starts having confidence in one’s own self after her talk. I got a letter from them in the month of April, on April 29th to be precise I remember it was the day that I was the finalist. My heart skipped a beat as I still could not believe that I was one of the finalists. I am not a social media person and hence the first round in which we were supposed to post our posts on social media I could not really do it well. I was a little unprepared for this so I was too busy with my work with my patients and my programs and workshops but yes I did take care of myself in the way I usually do. I wake up in the morning at 4.30 am, I meditate for an hour post that I go to the gym thrice a week workout with my yoga trainer who comes home. I come back home and then I give meditation sittings i.e. I impart spiritual training to many people who want after which I start my day’s work. My work is my passion. I love my babies. I love the babies in the early ages who come to me because I know in them lies the hope and the promise for the parents that they will improve and do well.
We arrived in Delhi on the 4th Nov . I had made myself comfortable the day before at my friend’s house. The pageant was going to be held in a prestigious luxury hotel in Delhi- The Leela Convention and Ambience Hotel
From the minute we walked we made friends with the other participants. The environment was warm and hospitable.
We were served a spread of delicious breakfast of a variety of cuisine. Subsequently, the makeover sessions started and then the rounds began, The interviews and the talent rounds happened on day one.
The entire team at the Pageant made us feel very comfortable and looked after us very well. The choreographer Shei Lobo was very disciplined in approach and wanted us to perform the best.
On the second day, we had a Martial arts session and meditation sessions as well. On day 3 we had a dermatologist speak with us and then we had the Grand Finale followed by Press Conference.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
I was sitting with my spiritual Master and there was a beauty queen who came to meet him. She set me thinking about why not participate in a pageant to spread the message of heartfulness meditation to many. One of my doctor friends also participated in the Pageant in 2021 and was awarded the first position. Both these people inspired me. I have been a fitness freak for many years not only in terms of external fitness but also internal fitness and I felt that this should be shared with everyone. The lifestyle, the thought process, the change that it has brought in me. so, in a nutshell, I can say I looked at people but I also looked within and I found that there is much to share so this was my inspiration to participate in the pageant.
I chose to participate in the current pageant to heartfully connect with everyone and spread the message of harmony to the world. To use this platform to spread happiness and empower every individual who seeks to be empowered.

In sync with this motto the activities dwell around inner as well as out grooming.
We had interview rounds, Talent round, Ramp walks Q and A, evaluated by a panel of esteemed professionals. We were also exposed to Self-defence, Meditation for Inner harmony and beauty and wellness sessions
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition?
The opinion of the judges was not restricted to the formal rounds but we were judged the moment we entered Delhi. Our interactions with the receptionists, drivers, our interpersonal interactions. How did we deal with extra hours of work to be put in? Our conduct during the rounds and of rounds was judged. We were judged on how we can carry ourselves with grace and dignity.
The rounds were
- Introduction round
- Rounds to understand each participant and her journey
- Talent round
- Ramp walk
We were judged on the clarity, confidence and inner strength, what we carried within. We were also judged on our ability to be human and connect with one and all. The values of the heart particularly empathy; humility and compassion.
“Queens are strong, beautiful, talented women whose inner beauty shines brighter than just the skin”
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
The experience for me was like a butterfly emerging out of a cocoon
I think the support of every individual person in this group was phenomenal. Mrs Ankita Saroha and our team have been benevolent and conspicuously very encouraging. I must say that we were taken care of very well. The team which helped us with our costumes helped to dress well. We looked our best because of their efforts every single person was so cooperative I cannot express rather I don’t have words to express myself to the extent they went out of their way for everything to help us feel at home and to feel confident, the judges who had come who are around us and we're looking at us and observing us and nonetheless, we knew that we have been observed, we were being put on to the scoring card right from the time we had entered Delhi. The way we spoke and the way the interactions were everything counted and this is what I feel was the hallmark of the show, we were actually scored for our confidence and authenticity and how we were able to take care of each other so the component of empathy, the component of teamwork was very important.
