World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself. I am a person with full of sympathy and positive vibes. That is why I like to help especially the less fortunate people. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Marketing diploma in Thailand. When I was 24 years old, I met and married my husband and came to the Netherlands when I was 25 years old. I am happy and proud to be a mother of 1 son. I live in the Netherlands for 19 years now and have been working in the Elderly homes. I love my work because I always give positive vibes to older people. I hope I can continue doing my work especially during this Corona pandemic where older people are prone of depression. Talking and giving them positive vibes will encourage them to live and that life is worth living for.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?

Women empowerment to me is about the ability of being a role model and an example of women with respect to good character, positivity and kindness to everyone.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history. I started my first pageant when I was 8 years old. It was followed when I was 17 years old, both were from my mother land - Thailand. From these 2 previous pageants, I learned how to become responsible and be prepared for the competitions. When I arrived in the Netherlands18 years ago, I joined a modelling competition and was place 2nd during the competition. I joined pageants again on October 2013 and have won as 1st runner up of Ms. Supermodel in Germany. It was followed on October 2015 as 3rd runner up of Queen of Queens in Germany. In 2019, I won the grand title as the Queen of Hearts that was held in Germany competition as well. All these pageants were together with my friend and my director Helen Ligutom. She encourages and supports me a lot in joining different pageants. She directly appointed me as Mrs Benelux 2020 due to COVID -19 pandemic where organizing events are not possible.

World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

My inspiration to join my first pageant was to show to everybody my capabilities not only the physical appearance but also what I can offered to other people.

World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? I choose to become the Mrs Benelux 2020 because basically I would like to represent the country where I live for almost 20 years – The Netherlands. I would like to show the Universe the culture of Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg). Especially during this COVID-19 pandemic where people need of positivity and encouragement. I would like to empower and be an example that despite this difficult time, we can always make positive vibes to cheer up everyone.

World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about? When I joined the Mrs Universe 2020, candidates knew that was through Online voting. It was also the first time for Mrs Universe to hold this kind of pageant virtually. For me, it is kind of strange, thrilling and exciting as well. It depends how many connections we got, it is about sharing the pages for votes. My friends and our organization have helped to get lots of votes and I end up on the top 23 of the Mrs Universe E-voting. I hope to see those

co-candidates in the future.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition? During the Mrs Universe E-voting 2020, we were only judge based on the numbers of votes we have. So basically, our pictures and videos were not counted.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition. During the Mrs Universe E-voting 2020 competition, my experience was a lot more pressure than the real pageant. During this virtual competition, what matters were the numbers of votes. This can be done and depends on how popular a candidate is in their respective country, the advertisements via social media, sharing from friends and organizations. It is a challenging virtual competition.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for. I currently works as a volunteer for an organization nearby my hometown where I live for vulnerable older people. I love to give positive vibes to older people and I hope I can continue doing this volunteer work in the future so that I can help more people.

World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title? Since this year when I become the Mrs Benelux 2020 as well as Mrs Universe top 23, I don’t have personal appearances at the moment. It is difficult time due to Covid-19 Pandemic and hopefully when everything is back to normal, I can do some appearances and show to people what I can do.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements? I would say that my greatest achievement is my family. My family supported me all the way on whatever endeavor I am embarking in my life. I am also proud of having a wonderful work where I can help to vulnerable people.

World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls? I think I stand out with other girls with my smile. My smile is always sincere and from the heart.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner. With the title as Mrs Benelux 2020 and as Mrs Universe E-voting 2020, I don’t experience thrilled and excitement because it is based on direct appointment and E-voting pageant.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen? For me, Beauty Queen is the epitome and embodiment of physical beauty, confidence, charisma, courage, kindness and sportsmanship. The Beauty Queen should uphold a good character because it is not only the physical beauty that matters but what inside the heart. The inside beauty is the most important because this is the way where we can empower others through the good deeds and charities that we will be able to give to other people.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life? Joining beauty pageants helped me boost my self-esteem and confidence. Not only that but I was able to gain networks of friends from different places and countries.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your self-esteem and body image? Joining beauty pageants help me a lot because I am always aware of my physical and inner self. I am always wanted to look good that is why I am always taking good care of my body. I also like to dress nicely and be somebody that other women can follow.

World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel? I feels so good when some people compliment me positively. Some women would be encourage to take good care of themselves. I am satisfied when I can empower to other women in this way.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over? During the span of joining different pageants, my strategies on stage were my being self-confident and the way I walk. But before joining any pageants, I always take so much time to practice on how to walk and be prepared on different categories.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?

Before joining any pageants, first I always asked information regarding the purpose of that certain pageant. Then I always prepared whatever categories required on the pageant. I made a program for myself, things that I need to do and to practice a lot. I prepared my physical appearance through diet and exercise.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk? I usually watched You tube videos from different Beauty pageants and models, how they walked gracefully and their techniques. With the help of my friends, I usually practice with them and so they can gave me advises on what to change, to do and to develop.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress? It is quite difficult to choose a good pageant dress because it should be unique and fits perfectly with my body. I am glad to have found a good Designer Toshimi Pacumbala from the Philippines who knows exactly what I want and what fits for me.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview? The strategy in winning interviews is practice a lot with possible questions. It should be short but powerful.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it? My mistake that I really wanted to do over and over again is my language. It is hard for me

sometimes to express myself fully because of my less ability of speaking the English language. I speak 2 strong languages – Dutch and Thai but my English speaking capability is very low in which I would like to practice more in the future.

World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest? I think during any pageants that I have joined, what I observed was that mostly some women choose the wrong dress. Sometimes, there were several women who are really very beautiful, but they choose a wrong dress that were unable to show their physical appearance. In beauty pageants, what matters are the physical appearance, the overall package, so it is important to be prepared all the time.

World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience? I usually join Beauty Pageants. I joined once on modeling contest but I preferred Beauty pageants.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2021 as a Queen? In 2021, I am planning to help more less fortunate children. Together with my friend and Director Helen Ligutom, we are going to join hands to have more charities particularly the less fortunate children in the Philippines.

World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind? I would like to leave behind my kindness and charities to people where I will do more in the future.
