World Class Bikini Models Magazine: How does it feel to be announced as Editor in Chief?

To be announced as Editor in Chief feels like I need to pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming. I have for many years admired the quality and professionalism of the World Class Brand. To be connected to such a prestigious publishing company elevates my career and opens countless doors of opportunities for me. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity and I am looking forward to all the interviews I get to do with so many amazing, talented, beautiful bikini models. I know this will lead to bigger and better things and I can’t wait to see what that is.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Why did you decide to accept this role?

It is always wise to surround yourself by people who are smarter, have more experience, and have bigger goals than you. This allows you to bring yourself up to their level. World Class Brand Publishing sets the standard for Beauty, Modeling, and Pageant Magazines. It is the most prestigious brand. If I am going to be an Editor in Chief I want to do it to the best of my ability and I want to align myself with the best of the best. Naturally when the offer was presented to me I was extremely excited for this amazing opportunity. There was no answer except yes. I am working on building my career as a bikini model and having access to interview the best of the best in bikini modeling is an amazing opportunity for my career.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: What do you plan on bringing to World Class Brand as the Editor in Chief?

I plan on bringing my dedicated and strong work ethic. When I do something I give 110%. I put my all into it and I am constantly competing with myself to be a better version of myself and push myself to next level. I am going to take that same approach for as I interview and select models to be featured in the magazine. I am looking for not only stunning ladies but those who are professional and want to jump on an amazing opportunity and make the most out of it. I will also promote and be an amazing brand ambassador for the magazine because bikini modeling is my passion and I will treat this opportunity as a way to showcase my passion and the best of what I can do.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: What do you hope to take away from this experience?

I believe in being a lifetime learner and always pushing yourself to the next level. I am hoping to take away from this experience a better understanding of how magazine publication, editing, and selecting works. I’m really excited to see the pros and cons and what is desirable versus what is a deal breaker. I’ve had the opportunity to be in many magazines before and being on the other side behind the curtain is a whole different experience and I am really excited and grateful for the opportunity. I want to soak up all that I can and constantly be learning and making myself a better person.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Please tell us about the upcoming Cover of World Class Bikini Models Magazine.

I am trying to reach my goal of being featured in Sports Illustrated. Since the best way to learn how to do something is to find a professional and have the expert teach you I researched many different photographers that have worked with Sports Illustrated in the past. I then hired one to do my photoshoot that specialized in poses that are the “Look” for SI. Before I booked my ticket to LA, I reached out to all the designers that were at Miami Swim Week last year. The reason I did this was SI often picks new models from Miami Swim Week. Two designers got back to me and agreed to let me wear some of their bikinis for the photoshoot. I thought this would also be a really good marketing and networking opportunity for me. I flew down to El Madador in CA and was photographed by James Santiago. He was extremely helpful in giving me tips and suggestions to improve my bikini modeling to make me more desirable and help reach my dream.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: How did you get involved with World Class Brand.

At the time I had recently won the title of Ms World America. I received an invitation from Derek to be interviewed by the magazine. I was aware of his brand and reputation so when I received the invite I was very excited. I responded that it would be an honor to be interviewed. My first interview was a feature inside the magazine. After which I was invited to be featured as a cover girl. I went and did a professional photoshoot to showcase my new sash and crown and completed the interview and submitted my photos and interview for Derek’s review. He then published me as a cover girl on the following magazines; World Class American Royalty Magazine, World Class Queens of North America Magazine, World Class Queens of Washington Magazine, and World Class Beauty Queens Magazine. Each interview I was able to update all the volunteer and pageant activity I had done as well as getting a new professional photoshoot done for each magazine cover girl feature.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Soon after your first pageant interview you became World Class Celebrity Cover Girl and made your dream come true. Tell us what impact it had on you, and how did it benefit you.

World Class Queens of Washington Magazine: I was actually the cover girl for the first issue of this magazine. This felt incredibly special because Washington is my home state and to be able to have my image on the cover of this magazine was an unbelievable dream come true. Many other Washington beauty queens were featured inside and this definitely built my reputation and exposure in the Washington State pageant community.

World Class American Royalty Magazine: This was a mega issue the magazine is so huge! This is by far my favorite cover because I absolutely felt like a Royalty in this magazine. I brought copies of this magazine with me to Haiti the four times I went volunteering and gave signed copies to many ambassadors and leaders in Haiti.

World Class Beauty Queens of North America Magazine: The scope of this magazine all of North America, wow! This was the last cover before I was offered the title of World Class Beauty Queens North America Ambassador 2021 so this holds a special place in my heart because I associate it with receiving that title. After this was published I was invited to attend the US Presidential Inaugural Ball which I did and it was phenomenal.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: This magazine cover I received several opportunities to judge pageants after this was released. That was a challenging and yet fun experience. It is very different sitting on the other side of the table and being a judge at the Miss Illinois Earth Pageant in August of 2021. All of the magazine covers and promoted me and increased my brand and made me more visible for modeling and pageant opportunities. I’ve received numerous gowns, jewelry, shoes, and makeup from various designers wanting me to wear their looks at my next event. The exposure also helped promote the pageant system I am involved with and helped many girls learn about that pageant that otherwise might not have.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: You've been World Class Ambassador for number of Years. Why did you choose to represent World Class Brand?

I chose to represent as an Ambassador because I felt like the World Class Brand was in line with the brand and image I was building for myself and I felt it would be a mutually beneficial. I knew I would work hard to do a good job as a brand ambassador and I also knew it would be good for my career to get additional exposure in such a professional and elite show casing. In building a brand and image you have to be really careful who you tie yourself to, it can ruin everything you are working towards if you pick to collaborate with someone or a brand who doesn’t match up with yours. World Class was an easy choice for me because the level or professionalism matches mine and the expectation of producing a product that is of high quality and stands out is exactly what my induvial brand is.

World Class as the Ambassador and how did it benefit you?

It has been a huge benefit to me being a World Class Ambassador as World Class Beauty Queens North America Ambassador and as World Class Bikini Model. The brand has a reputation for being a step above and a very elevated standard so to be associated with such quality has helped my personal brand and image. I enjoy working with Derek because he is so professional and takes so much pride in his work. This is how I run my brand and my business so it was a perfect pairing for me. I have had many designers, photographers, and fashion show producers want to work with me because of my association with this brand.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: What are some of the appearances that's you've made as the Ambassador.

As an Ambassador I have attended 2021 Ms Universe and Ms World International Pageants, BPur 2022 Summit in Rabat, Morocco, Seattle Africa Fashion Week, Los Angeles Fashion Week, 2022 New York Fashion Week, Boys and Girls Club 2022 Annual Fundraising Gala, 2021 and 2022 bell ringing for the Salvation Army, 2022 Global Dignity Day, Central Kitsap Food Bank 5k Fundraiser, Compassion with Fashion runway show benefiting Ukraine humanitarian relief, 5th Annual United States Academy of Veterans Awards ceremony as a presenter, judged the Miss Illinois Earth Pageant, as well as being on 35 different podcasts and numerous TV interviews.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: What are some of the recognitions achieved as the Ambassador?

The largest recognition I have received is I was just nominated for CNN’s Hero of the Year. This is based on volunteer work and giving back and making the world a better place. It is a huge honor because the time and effort that went into the nomination process is quite extensive. It definitely was a labor of love and I am extremely grateful that Karen Robertson took time and energy to nominate me for this prestigious award. She listed all nonprofits I am working with, my life story, education, work experience, pageant credentials, and so many elements that make me who I am. Just to be nominated for something so big and amazing feels like a dream come true.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Tell us about some of the mentorship that you received from Derek Tokarzewski.

Derek has been phenomenal to work with. He is really good at giving specific examples and tips on how to approach an issue and how to get the desired results. He is a wealth of information and I am so grateful to him that he is willing to share his talents and expertise with me. He is always reviewing and editing coming up with better processes and procedures and ways to make everything as top notch as possible. He has an incredible eye for detail and beautiful way of showcasing models and beauty queens to make them look their absolute best. I don’t want to give away his trade secrets but what I will say he is talented and a dream to work with.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Please tell us about yourself.

I am a happy mother to three boys, Brycen (9), Brodi (7), and Bronx (7); being a “boy mom” is the absolute best. They are the light of my world and shape my purpose. Professionally, I am a tax accountant with the Enrolled Agent designation. I own a private tax practice – and yes, I seriously enjoy helping people save money on their taxes!

I also try to combine my professional expertise with my passion for volunteering. I recently accepted a position as Chief Financial Officer for an international nonprofit organization called Global Dignity. Global Dignity is active in over 80 countries; its mission is to promote religious, ethnic, cultural, and gender dignity in schools, communities, and workplaces by providing education in tolerance and mutual respect; their ultimate goal is to foster just, open, and peaceful societies.

I also serve on the advisory council for the Academy of United States Veteran Foundation, an organization which coordinates with multiple other non-profit groups to provide services that are both badly needed and often sadly inaccessible to veterans. They help to provide housing for the homeless, health care advocacy for service-related conditions, resume training, access to service animals and have a special interest in improving access to mental health support and suicide prevention.

Finally, I am on the advisory council for an organization called “BPur;” this is a global initiative being presented to the United Nations to improve global human rights by focusing on the promotion of religious tolerance, disarming extremism, and encouraging secular instead of religion-based political structures. This is slated to be presented before the United Nations this September.

During NYFW AlterEgo Productions was filing a documentary on modeling and I was involved in that.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: What are your goals as a model for 2022/23?

I have big goals for 2022/2023. I have always wanted to be a Sports Illustrated Model. New models for SI are often picked up at Miami Swim Week. I am modeling in Miss Bikini US competition that opens up Miami Swim Week. I am hoping to use this opportunity to bring my bikini modeling career to the next level. I currently have the title of Miss Bikini Washington Fitness. During the competition in July it will be four days of bikini modeling in front of 20 photographers who pick their favorite model. The photographers are 1/3 of the score. 1/3 of the score is social media prior to the event how much were you promoting the Miss Bikini US brand and as an ambassador what were you doing to represent. The final scoring portion of the competition is based on a Victoria’s Secret style runway fashion show. Many prior contestants have been featured in Sports Illustrated, Maxim, and Vogue. My goal is to win my division and be the next Miss Bikini Fitness US. I want to take that tile and use it to further my modeling career both in fashion shows and bikini modeling. 2023 I would love to walk in Paris Fashion Week as well as Seattle Metropolitan Fashion Week.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: What are some of your other recent achievements?

I am on the advisory council for BPur. In May of 2022 in Morocco BPur had an international summit with 60 countries present to speak about the global treaty. This is the largest global human rights movement ever. World leaders, diplomats, religious world leaders were all present and speaking about the value of the initiative and why it is relevant in the world today. I was completely blown away by opportunity to be a speaker at the summit as well. Speaking alongside such powerful and impactful souls such as the Archbishop of Tbilisi, members of the European Union, and diplomats for 60 countries was extremely intimidating but the realization that we have more in common with one another than what divides us. Several of the countries have backed the treaty such as the UK, Morocco, Pakistan, Georgia, Belgium, and Austria and it is likely the treaty will be presented before the United Nations in September. Being able to be included in a global movement to provide opportunities and not exclude people feels like a massive achievement.

World Class Bikini Models Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

As an indirect answer to the question, I honestly feel like my volunteer work is my biggest achievement and the legacy I want to leave behind; many of my opportunities to give back to those around me have come directly from my work and experiences modeling. I can leverage a title, an award, a following, or an online presence to help address issues that are important to me morally and spiritually. From a pragmatic perspective, one of my favorite honors was being chosen World Class Beauty Queens Magazine Cover Girl. It feels pretty glamourous to be dressed up in a pageant gown, wearing my sash and crown. That combined the fun and excitement of modeling with the experience of being a “queen.”
