World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Miss Business Global 2025 Pageant is a prestigious beauty contest for girls and businesswomen around the world. The contest is approved and supported by the Vietnamese government (exclusive copyright granted by the Ministry of Culture - Sports - Tourism of Vietnam).
The Miss Business Global (MBG) contest doesn't matter what age the contestant is, Ms or Mrs., we just need you to bring inspirational stories about yourself and your life, and show us hard that the candidate has enough qualities and abilities to become the "Queen" of the MBG family and carry out her mission, spreading the values of herself and of MBG brand. We look forward to your participation and cooperation. Let's develop the MBG brand and join the queens in carrying out their missions to bring positive values to your country and the world.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us what inspired you to start or join your system?
In the world today, there is no beauty contest to honor talented girls/women but they have gone through the worst things in their lives, most other beauty contests choose beautiful girls and have good performance skills and especially honor business women and girls with strong will, overcoming all difficulties to have the success as present.
And the strongest factor that made us decide to found and organize this Miss Business Global contest is because in Vietnam there are some beauty contests for business women (including some contests with international names) but in fact they are only for Vietnamese contestants and their nature does not care about the Beauty Queen factor but puts financial issues first, causing the value of business women when achieving titles from these contests to lose value and be looked down upon by the audience and society. We want to change the audience's perspective and affirm the true value of Beauty Queen and Business Woman.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us the founding story of the system.
From the motivations I just mentioned, we decided to establish an international contest called Miss Business Global. However, this was the first time in Vietnam that someone registered to confirm copyright and exclusive trademark as well as the plan to organize (host) an international beauty contest. Therefore, we encountered many difficulties in obtaining a certificate from the competent Vietnamese Government agency, we had to wait and prove everything for 3 years before getting the desired results.
World Class Beauty Queens: What was the vision and the goal in the beginning while creating your pageant.
We are targeting business women and girls/women who have positive inspirational stories that they have personally experienced. We want to demonstrate the real value and humanitarian value that the Queens of the MBG family have achieved since they won and worked with the MBG organization. We want to spread the Miss Business Global brand to many countries and have many national organizations register for the franchise so that we can give opportunities to many wonderful girls/women and develop this brand in a positive way.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself. (Personal, non pageant)
Miss Business Global Organization was founded and run by two powerful CEOs, Mr. Minh Long (CEO of MBG Organization) and Mr. Bezi Tran (CEO of Miss Business Global)
Mr. Minh Long is known as the CEO of LD Entertainment Company Limited (the copyright owner and host of the Miss Business Global contest & CEO of MBG Organization ). In addition, Minh Long is also the Director of Minh Long Makeup Academy located on Ung Van Khiem Street, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. Born and raised in a large family, in a poor rural area of Xuan Loc District, Dong Nai Province. Mr. Minh Long had a difficult childhood, unable to fully pursue his dream of studying, having to put everything aside to join his parents in making a living, helping to take care of his family life and his younger siblings' studies.
He spent most of his childhood working to earn money to support his family. He did many jobs and jobs. With more than 15 years of experience in the field of makeup and hair styling, Minh Long has established his name and reputation in the area where he lives before moving to Ho Chi Minh City to find better job opportunities.
In 2019, he participated in a high-level professional competition for beauty industry professionals organized by the Beauty Industry Association of Vietnam - Malaysia - China - Hong Kong - Taiwan - Philippines in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and achieved the title of International Makeup Artist, worthy of his talent, experience and dedication over the past 15 years.
Mr. Bezi Tran, a familiar name in the art world and especially beauty contests in Vietnam. Although not too prominent and famous, Bezi Tran has been affirming his name with his efforts and dedication.
Graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and experienced a period of trying his hand at many different jobs and business fields. Bezi Tran was determined to stop and choose to pursue the path of Art that he dreamed of despite opposition from his family.
In 2018, Mr. Bezi Tran was crowned the 1'St Runner-up - Mister Cinema Vietnam of the Promising Faces of the Cinema Stage contest licensed by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City. After that, Bezi Tran participated in many art programs as a judge, advisor, and participated in stage plays directed by Natao Pham and the Young World stage. In addition, Bezi Tran appeared in TVCs of prestigious brands and trademarks, and in MVs and short films of a number of young singers and directors.
Having a passion for the beauty pageant field. Bezi Tran takes on the role of National Director of several international beauty pageants and gives opportunities to contestants representing Vietnam to participate in these pageants and bring back proud achievements such as Miss PanContinental 2022 (Bui Thi Mai Huong), Miss Culture World 2022 (Thai Nha Van), Top 10 – Mrs Tourism International 2023 (Cao Pham Nhat Khanh).
In 2021, Bezi Tran founded the Miss Business Global contest and served as the contest's President. The contest was first hosted in 2023 by LD Entertainment Co.,LTD.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about your education.
Mr. Minh Long has a high school education but he started working to earn money at the age of 8 because his family was extremely poor at that time.
Mr. Bezi Tran has a university education (Bachelor of Geography Education)
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
I have seen so many girls/women in the world who have been overlooked and ignored, they have not been able to develop and succeed in their environment and dreams.
Especially for girls/women who have experienced the worst things in their lives, but they still strive and rise up to change everything for some purpose. And now most of the business is an important factor that everyone has (because business will create money), but when they succeed in the business field, what kind of person will they become, that is the question we ask all the contestants of the MBG family. So empowering them is a great thing and helps them have more wings, confidence and show their true humanity, bringing positive values to society.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your personal pageant history.
The official contest will be held in 2023 in Dak Nong province (Vietnam). Because it is the first year that Vietnam hosts an international beauty contest founded by Vietnamese people, we have encountered many difficulties in administrative areas and calling for sponsors. In the first year of organization, we have not really had many international contestants register to participate.
However, the competition was successful and created prestige in Vietnam and a small part of the world influence. 2024 is the second year the competition is held in Vietnam, everything seems to be better, however, the Grand Final MBG 2024 had to be canceled because at that time the highest leader of Vietnam passed away (our country has a national mourning) and to show respect for the political event, we had to cancel everything that could not go according to the original plan (but at that time, we were still able to organize a small award event to honor the best contestants).
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
The person who inspired me to know about beauty contests and follow and learn about almost all beauty contests in the world is Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 (Pham Huong), she is the most famous Beauty Queen in Vietnam until now, her appeal and media level are completely strong until now even though she has a family and is limited in the showbiz field. From this inspiration, I have had a love and interest in beauty contests.
World Class Beauty Queens: Over the years what Country, state or city the competition took place and why?
Currently, the Miss Business Global contest is hosted in Vietnam.
Because we want more contestants (international queens) to come to Vietnam and help Vietnam become more known to the world.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us what was special about each years competition. (Location, sponsors, audience, contestants and why)
The special thing about the Miss Business Global contest is that contestants have the opportunity to interact with sponsors and brands during the contest (opening up a development in everyone's business field). And most especially, we allow contestants to share their inspirational stories on the international stage so that everyone (audience) can understand more about them and see the value of women.
After being crowned, the queens always accompany and work with the MBG organization in political events (meeting and working with senior leaders of provinces and cities in Vietnam), participating in activities with sponsors and brands, participating in events, fashion shows and especially charity activities in Vietnam as well as in their countries.
World Class Beauty Queens: What cultural significance has your pageant?
In addition to the National Costume competition (a cultural and ethnic exchange performance between countries), the Miss Business Global contest also has cultural and artistic exchange activities of Vietnam aimed at introducing to international friends the image, people, culture and heritage of the Vietnamese people.
World Class Beauty Queens: How long hours/days is the competition.
The Miss Business Global contest will usually take place over at least 10 consecutive days.
World Class Beauty Queens: Are contestants taken on any sight seeing during the competion?
The outstanding activities in the Miss Business Global contest are always:
- Sightseeing, tourism & entertainment.
- Cultural exchange with local people.
- Experience local cuisine and traditions.
- Environmental activities.
- Sightseeing & exchange with typical local businesses.
- Exchange and receive gifts from Sponsors.
- Charity activities.
- Talent show & Close door interviews.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are the competitors being judged on during the competition?
We evaluate the candidates based on many different criteria, but there are 4 important criteria (4B):
- BRAND (the candidate's personal brand and influence in their country)
- BUSINESS (their inspirational story and will to change their life based on business factors, the ability to connect and work with businesses and brands in their country)
- BEAUTY (a Beauty Queen, in addition to internal values, must also have the awareness to love themselves, take good care of themselves, and have a good appearance)
- BODY (the change in themselves (body) before and after they become a real Beauty Queen, this is also a factor of loving themselves, and taking care of their health, sports, is an inspirational factor for all other girls/women)
World Class Beauty Queens: How do you select your judges and who are they?
We select judges based on their professional experience in many fields (usually they will be experienced Beauty Queens, long-time artists, actors, singers (because they have been working in the art field for a long time, they have a good view of the next queens), businessmen, sponsors because they are successful businessmen and have a lot of experience in the business field (in line with MBG's criteria).
However, the judges' results are not the final results, their results are just suggestions for the 2 CEOs of MBG to refer to and make the final decision on the winners (because the judges do not accompany the contestants throughout, they cannot see the contestants comprehensively, they usually only appear in some important competitions and the grand final, they only give advice and evaluate based on their experiences).
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of experience can contestants expect during the competition?
Candidates will have many practical experiences in the locality where the competition takes place based on the activities within the framework. In addition, the winning candidates will accompany and participate with MBG Organization in many political activities, social - charity - art - business activities and tourism and culinary promotion (which we call the MBG Queen Tour program).
World Class Beauty Queens: Do contestants have to support and volunteer for any cause or charity either before the competition or during their reign?
For the candidates before the MBG international competition takes place, in their country, they can carry out many activities with the title they own to spread the value and create their influence (we do not require this, if they do it, it is good for themselves)
For the candidates who win the MBG competition, during their 01 year of tenure, they will join the MBG Organization to participate in many activities in the position of the title they own.
World Class Beauty Queens: Does the system have sponsors?
Of course, any beauty pageant or program needs sponsors. We have a sponsor system based on categories and forms of sponsorship as prescribed.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us little bit about each winner from over the years and what they accomplished through out their reign.
- Miss Business Global 2023 (Alisa Miskovska from Latvia): after winning she received an advertising contract for Mercedes-Benz Brand in Latvia, Aesthetics: Nostrum Clinic, Fashion: Derschatz, Jewelry: La Vendom Diamond, Brand Ambassador for: BMW in Latvia, held the Vedette position in fashion shows in Vietnam and internationally, attended many red carpet events as a VIP.
- Miss Business Ambassador 2023 (Hoang Thanh Loan from Vietnam): after winning she participated in many charity activities in Vietnam and some political activities, received the Top 50 Influential Women in Asia 2023 certification, took on the Vedette role in some fashion shows in Vietnam, became the Producer of some art programs (Model Kids) in Vietnam.
- Miss Business Global 2024 (Misato Araki from Japan): After returning home victorious, she has spent a lot of time developing her scale and work based on the support of her reputation when she owns the international title. Participated in business trips with the MBG organization, currently in her term so the next activities will be updated later.
- Miss Business Ambassador 2024 (Lily Vo from North Netherlands): After returning home victorious, she spent a lot of time developing her scale and work based on the support of her reputation when she owned the international title. Conducting many charity activities in the Netherlands and Vietnam, participating in many interview programs of domestic and foreign television stations and magazines. Participating in political activities in Vietnam with MBG Organization, connecting and working with many businesses and partners of MBG Organization. Currently in her term, the next activities will be updated later.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some fun events you've done with your Queens?
We have had many memorable moments with the Queens of the MBG family in the past time through business trips, the Queen Tour MBG program promoting Vietnam tourism, experiencing the cuisine and daily activities of Vietnamese people, parties and meaningful surprise gifts for the MBG Queens during business trips.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for your system in 2025 and beyond?
In 2025, the Miss Business Global contest will have many new changes in activities and forms, especially the crowning moment of 2 Grand Winners. Starting from 2025, we will promote the development of images, videos, documents, political activities, charity activities and expand partners (franchise registration countries) to give opportunities to many girls/women around the world.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind as the owner.
I want to leave the prestige and brand of MBG to the successors, inheritors of this contest (next owners). The actual value of the MBG contest has been achieved through the activities of the MBG queens in the past time.
